Lady Glenda D. Dudley

First Lady

Lady Glenda D. Dudley, formerly Glenda D. Jones, is the middle child of 7 children from the union of Mrs. Glennie Jones and the late Mr. Arthur William Jones. She was born and raised in Springhope, NC. She is the wife of Bishop Geoffrey V. Dudley, Sr., D.Min., and devoted mother to their two beautiful children, Mahogany Kneecoal & Geoff, II. She faithfully followed her husband during their 21 ½ year military service when he was a Chaplain Lieutenant Colonel in the Air Force.

At the age of 17, Lady Dudley rededicated her life to Lord and has been a faithful servant ever since. She earned an Associate’s Degree in Accounting from Commonwealth College in Hampton, VA. She has worked in the public school system for the majority of her adult life.

Lady Dudley has devoted herself to raising her children and includes time to disciple young wives and mothers according to Titus 2:4-5. She is a powerful woman of God who is quick to lend a listening ear or a helping hand to the flock of New Life in Christ (NLC). Lady Dudley, whose heart is for prayer and maintaining New Life as a "house of prayer", leads a Morning Glory Prayer each First Saturday (730am) that is open to all.

Since the inception of the church, Lady Dudley has been the advisor of the women’s ministry. She has a heart for the women of God at NLC and the Metro-East. She leads by example and is committed to utilizing her gifts to empower the women of God to fulfill their destiny. She regularly ministers the word in the women’s weekly LifeGroups, as well as Sunday Worship.

Lady Dudley is committed to exemplifying the Word of God without compromise in every area of her life. She speaks with sensitivity, humor, and biblical wisdom in addressing issues related to motherhood and marriage. Her loving, yet transparent style leaves her listeners inspired and encouraged in their walks with Christ. Many, in fact, have described "Lady Glenda" as anointed and life changing!
