LifeChanging @ Another Level!

LifeChanging @ Another Level Courses (LC@AL) are designed to help LifeChangers reach their God-given potential.  These courses are for the entire family on a night especially designed for the whole family.

LC@AL is what NLC uses to facilitate our 7 Principles of Ministry to ensure LifeChangers mature in Christ.
All LifeChangers are required to complete the following classes: P3, Evangelism, Financial Peace University - Debt Free, Health &  Wellness, Prayer Answers Guaranteed!, and one session of the Men’s, Women’s, Couples, or Singles/Y-Stand class.             
                                                                                            
In addition to those courses, NLC offers courses geared for living a vice-free, addiction-free, healthy lifestyle and life; Freedom From Smoking, and Renew N U - Substance Abuse Ministry.             
                                               
LC@AL Courses are offered every Wednesday night. The courses vary; please refer to the session calendar for the next courses offered.
In addition to the courses, a light meal is provided so that you can come directly from work and or school without having to be concerned with preparing a meal for your family. 

At anytime you can come to LC@AL by attending at 6:30 pm any Wednesday to plug in with a class that fits your needs.  There is always something offered for everyone in the family.  Men, Women, Couples, Singles, Teens & Children can plug right into LC@AL.  For more information about our current classes offered, email us at LCAL@nlicic.org, or call (618) 632-6542.

Purpose

NLC believes God’s Word, the holy Bible, is our sole source of knowledge of eternal salvation and of guidance for our daily life, and therefore worth serious, disciplined thought and study.

NLC believes the Bible, not the study guide or the facilitator, is the authority in small group discussions.  NLC believes that the consistent study of Scripture will lead people to build their understanding and enable them to become mature believers.
The LC@AL Courses objective is to enable LifeChangers to investigate the Scriptures, encounter God, and to mature in their faith through small group discussion Bible studies.

Small group objective:

The objective of small groups is to provide LifeChangers the opportunity to learn and grow in a more personal setting. Learning biblical principles is always easier in small group settings of no more than 20 people in a group. FLC is built around that educational principle.

NLC believes small groups are conducive to adult learning in a safe comfortable environment where people feel free to ask questions and share their personal discoveries of Biblical truth and its meaning and application to their lives.

NLC believes everyone in the group owns the group and is responsible to study and participate in the discussion of the Bible study.

P3 Class*

This class is LifeChanger 101. You will learn New Life in Christ’s foundational teachings of Servant Leadership, Covenant, and Spiritual Gifts. This required class will prepare you to join your fellow LifeChangers in the volunteer ministries of NLC.

Financial Peace University*

This class teaches you how to be prosperous biblically. It will help you understand the forces behind your financial distress, teach you to create a spending plan you can stick to, help you set goals you can achieve and make things right for you and your family; financially, emotionally, and spiritually - for good.

Evangelism *

In this class you’ll learn how you can experience life’s greatest thrill – leading a friend or loved one to the Savior. You will discover your own natural evangelism style, and how to build spiritually strategic relationships.  

Health & Wellness*

To assist you becoming good stewards of God’s precious temple, NLC offers a health program focusing the mind, body and spirit. It is a program designed to teach you the skills and methods needed to reach your personal goal(s) in becoming “faithfully fit”.  

Prayer - Answers Guaranteed!

Do you want to grow in prayer, or help others you influence to develop a prayer life? This study; using Bishop Dudley’s book “Prayer Answers Guaranteed!” will give you a biblical understanding of God’s command to “pray without ceasing”. You will be able to take the ideas and concepts and in a practical way use them successfully throughout your Christian journey.

Passion Week: April 17 – 24 (no class on April 20th)
