Dance Ministry
Dance Ministry, one of the Worship Arts, was established to restore dance to its orginal purpose:
To praise and glorify GOD.
It consists of four separate dance ministries:
True Worship
True Worship began in April 2003 with four active members and grew to 11 members. Currently, there are seven active members. True Worship functions in the worship services to usher the people into the very presence of GOD. This ministry looks forward to ministering to people outside the walls of NLC.
Perfected Praise
Perfected Praise is an awesome ministry of 30 children that is fun, innovative and great exercise. Parent support and participation is incredible, and many report an improved self-image in their children. This ministry has been instrumental in forming improved relationships between parents, youth, and church leadership. This ministry will definitely change the lives of all that are a witness to their powerful ministry.
SuseJ
SuseJ had its beginning in October 2003. It is a newly developed team of 13 youth dedicated to reaching other youth using dance in a culturally relevant format. This ministry is preparing and looking forward to doing outreach ministry soon.
Superior Outstanding Stompas (SOS)
SOS is a step/drill team of approximately 15 youth developed to witness to all people, but especially youth, to let them know that salvation and forgiveness of sin is not only found in GOD, but in HIS SON CHRIST JESUS. SOS has ministered in the surrounding area in an effort to change lives in their lifetime.
